This book seems like an interesting read, and as much as I am interested reading about Donny and his sister's adventure in California, I would take a pass. Congrats though on being BOTD.

The adventures of Donny and Mary is certainly an interesting one. I like how a disabled child is in the book unlike most books and how it follows his life and adventure.

I like the child friendly themes in this book such as how to handle a special needs child and the negatives of bullying. Thanks for the review.

I think children can enjoy this book, because it shows them how an event, that they might think it's boring, can turn into a great adventure. They can also understand that having a condition or a Syndrome cannot change the way that person is.

This book seems like a great choice to read. I want to read the interactions between Mary Grace, Donny, and the grandmother. As it also talks about bullying, this book is a nice choice for children.

It’s exciting to see a children’s book include such a diverse range of characters- a great story and diverse teaching aid.

This seems like an interesting children’s book that would kindle family values and bond and love for grandparents in children. Inclusion of special needs child is another plus. Thanks for the review.

Though my son is 5 years old,I will still read the boom to him. Young children can learn many valuable social skills and the effects of bad behaviour from the book. Thanks KS for the review!

Wow! This sounds like a truly unique story. It's a bit unusual to hear about Christian missionaries in this day and age, and I like the fact that the story includes a main character with Down's syndrome because people with that condition are rarely represented in society. So, this children's book can help break the stigma and dispel any misconceptions about the genetic condition. Furthermore, I like the character development that is described when a bully changes his ways and becomes a friend instead. I look forward to reading this book.
