I am excited with the review about Mary Grace and Donny. It lets me look forward to the California Adventures and how the detective skills could be used with Grandma's Gang. I'm also excited to read a book about Donny and how the family deals with Down Syndrome. Congratulations on an inclusive review!

This seems like a lovely children's book that I would enjoy sharing with my family. Mary Grace seems to grow and learn so much about herself and life in California after her parents are sent to do missionary work.

The characters Donny and Jason show how crucial it is to provide children with all round support, be it emotional, spiritual and what have you. The absence of this might turn them into bullies and other vices. It is refreshing to read about the positive changes that took place in the life of Jason and also the love and support given to Donny, which helps him immensely in the management of his Down Syndrome.

It's great how Mary Grace and donny fight the attitude and stigma surrounding people with disabilities in the society. This inspires people and gives them awareness of how to encourage and show them love and support. We also make them feel they are not different from the others.

It sounds like this book is not only an interesting story, but also a glimpse into how families can help children with special needs.

A children’s book that includes a child with a disability is very rare, and I like that it was included to make children more aware.

Congrats on BOTD. It seems this children's book will teach us a lot of meaningful lessons, such as how to treat a child with Down's syndrome or how to deal with bullying.

My niece has downs syndrome and you can bet your last dollar that my family would end any bullying that pointed her way. The BOTD appears to focus on family and how influential the people who are in a child's life. Nice review.

Thank you for your informational review. This sounds like a great book with lots of lessons to be learned. From the sample, I could tell it was well-written and they treated Donnie very normal and as a regular part of the family. It's nice to know they didn't treat him as anything but a part of a family that loves him very much. I have added this to my list of books to read

I read the first chapter, and I also think this is a book for everyone, not just children. It will certainly benefit parents of both children with mental or physical disabilities and parents of bullies. There are life lessons here for everyone.

Just looking at the cover of the book, I did not expect it to be so deep. Touching on separation in many forms, bullying, but also the ability to overcome obstacles as children and adults, these are all amazing subjects! Thank you for such a great review! I actually want to read this book now :)

This sounds like a nice book for children. It has a lot of good lessons and a dose of mystery to keep readers entertained. I especially like that it seems as though the character with Down Syndrome is handled well. Thank you for the helpful review.
