I love the plot of this book, as it centers on Donny and Mary Grace and Donny's gradual acceptance by Jason, who normally bullies him because he has Down syndrome. It would be a wonderful book to read.

It sounds like Donny and Mary Grace have an unexpectedly nice time in California. And any book with a Grandma Gang is a plus.

Catherine Anna Pepe's book follows the journey of Donny, a child with Down Syndrome, and Mary Grace as they relocate to California to live with their grandparents. The book provides guidance on coping with the challenges of caring for children with special needs and emphasizes positivity.

This is an interesting book for kids. And it seems Mary Grace and Donny will have a great adventure as they stay in California with their grandparents while their parents go on a missionary journey to Kenya. Congratulations on BOTD!

The kids life without their parents for 2 years seems to be the plot of this novel. I am not really a fan of the cover page.

I love the fact that Mary Grace and her family do visit the zoo. I think going on outings like this is good for family bonding. I will try to read this book. Great review. Congratulations on BOTD.

I am not an ardent lover of children's books. But the content of this one thrilled me. It had an amazing characterization. It brought my love for adventures back. Congrats on the book of the day.

I have read upto 10th chapter and I'm loving it. The main lesson that I learnt upto this chapter the reason behind these people like Donny are called Special because they are special in every way and they are more of humans than the normal ones. They are the genuine ones and every normal humans need to learn from the special Individuals of our society. They are the best teachers who can actually teach the real meaning of humanity, love and generosity.

The fact that it is laced with mystery makes it suitable for my niece. Thanks for the review.

Mary Grace continually encourages Donny to pursue his passions. Donny's character, on the other hand, felt the most genuine. It displays a child's innocence as he navigates and discovers the world.

Mr & Mrs. Miller informed their kids that they would be going away to Kenya for two years on a missionary journey, and Donny and Mary Grace would have to stay with their grandparents in California. Will the kids be willing to adjust to this new change?

Some situations are sometimes blessings in disguise. Initially, they were upset about going to their grandparent's place but it turned out to be an adventure. Nice review!
