Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat by R.F. Kristi is a book that brings to light Inca & Company. Inca, Fromage, Cara, Monk, Charlotte, Terrance, and Polo form a detective agency. The above detective company has solved many "detective mysteries." Like other cases they have solved, this book brings to light a seven-day event in which they proved their efficiency once again. In this book, Inca's family were enjoying their holidays on an island between India and Asia. The next morning, while reading the newspaper, the mother discovered that an "old antique sword" she had planned to see at the museum had gone missing. The cats overheard this and began investigating. Were they able to retrieve the stolen sword?

The author really amazed me with her ability to write as if she understands and hears the voices of cats. The author is seen saying that cats hate to travel. It amazed me how she knew that. However, it added flair to the book, and I adore it. I also love the author’s ability to use sounds made by cats and interpret them as words. It made the book the perfect fit for kids. The author also used the book to teach kids the importance of museums and national heritage. I feel the author achieved two things. She taught kids about some societal norms and also gave them a story to read. I love these things about the book.

I feel the author did a great job of writing for kids. Although the presentation of the cat’s ability to retrieve the sword is casual, some children might catch the drill. However, it is a good book. I have nothing to hate in the book.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 because the author proved her mastery of writing children’s literature. The mode of narration is beautiful. The language is friendly and engaging. The book is exceptionally well edited.

I recommend this book to kids that love adventure stories. It is a beautiful book that can keep a child busy. I strongly recommend it.
