Did You Know, written by Ashok Bhaskaran and illustrated by Elena Siderova, is a children’s picture book about Jason and all the exciting facts he knows. Jason tells readers about ancient cities, sailing to faraway lands, new inventions that would change the world, and humans reaching the moon. He also informs readers about how Earth is getting sick, sea life has become ill from trash, and what we can do to help.

The book is an interesting read full of facts that children will find fun. Unlike with some other children’s books, there is a list of fascinating details about the world. Did You Know has cute, colorful little illustrations that will pull in young readers. The work is easy to read, and children who aren’t new at reading but are not ready for chapter books will enjoy it.

The book’s only downside is that there is no actual plotline or story to follow. A few young readers may not enjoy the lack of a story. However, some kids may not care that there is no story, so overall there is nothing genuinely negative about this work. There were no spelling or grammar errors.

I give Did You Know by Ashok Bhaskaran 4 out of 4 stars. The children’s book is well written and beautifully illustrated, so there was no reason to remove any stars. The lack of errors proves that the work was professionally edited.

I would recommend Did You Know to children who are interested in learning more about the world and its history. Teachers of young students and parents will also find this an excellent book to have. It also may be helpful for adults with special needs who like facts. There are no warnings that apply to this work, but parents should read it ahead of time to see if it fits their children well.
