Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat is an interesting book about crime, mystery, and detecting.

The members of the detective agency are Inca, Fromage, Cara, Charlotte, Terrance, and Polo, all of which are cats, dogs, and a hamster. The other members of the lineup are Mom (their adopted humanoid) and Solo, a famous detective. In this book, Inca and the family are on vacation to Sri Lanka, where they learn of the loss of a valuable item in the museum. This is how they swung into detective mode and set out to unravel the mystery.

The use of simple language and short sentences is a peculiar feature of R. F. Kristi's books. The author presented the book from the first-person point of view, making descriptions of places and events as vivid as possible. The reader gets the vibe of reading from Inca's diary. This makes it attractive and endearing for young readers.

The book is also colorfully illustrated. Everyone loves books with illustrations, and this book has it all. R. F. Kristi also gave human attributes and expressions to her animal characters. All of these are attempts at making the book relatable to child readers of several grade levels.

Among several others, I liked this book because, although it's a children's book, it has a vast range of interesting facts and knowledge, even for adults looking out for places of interest. I gained new knowledge, and my interest is now aroused in Sri Lanka.

Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat is a well-written book. The writer's unique style of use of illustrations, words, and sentences is unique. I love how Inca is portrayed as a brave character, determined to get to the root of whatever it is. The themes of love, family, friendship, and teamwork are pronounced in this book.

I must point out that there were no errors at all. This book was exceptionally edited, and I salute the editor for that. There is absolutely nothing that I dislike about it. This is why I am rating this book a 4 out of 4 stars. This book will teach children not just morals but also educational and geographic information. I strongly recommend this book for children of all ages and parents who will love to build a reading culture in their young ones.
