Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is the 8th book in the Diary of a Snoopy Cat: The Inca Detective series. This is a children’s book written by R.F. Kristi.

Inca and her family travel to South Korea since her mother has been chosen as one of the judges for the French patisserie competition. While the family was flying, Inca's mother saw her former adversary, who also happened to be a judge at the tournament. The person ends up snatching the cheese that Inca's mother had planned to bring to the tournament. The crime was solved sooner thanks to Inca and her companions.

This was a well-written book that was full of color, making it more appealing to children, and it had a fast-paced narrative that would make children pleased because most of them don't want to spend too much time reading. Inca is my favourite character she is a smart cat she can think fast in a situation where most cases many children would have freaked out.

I liked the photographs and the addition of a family tree. This is especially useful if you did not begin with the first series of the book. The fact that the book was instructional for children appealed to me. I enjoy how the narrative depicts collaboration. This demonstrates that when we work together, we can overcome any obstacle, large or small. I liked everything about this book.

This is an exceptionally well-edited book. I did not find any errors, which shows that it was professionally edited. I rate the book 4 out of 4 stars because of all the positive comments towards the book.

I recommend this book to three children that love to read and to anyone interested in children's books. This is a very educational book for children. It will help them to build their vocabulary and learn more about other places and cultures.
