Review of Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula
Since reading is very important in acquiring knowledge, it is advised that children learn how to read on time. Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi is a children's book about pets giving their all in trying to help their human mom. This book is interesting, educative, and contains a lot of morals.
Missy, the human mum of Inca and the crew of pets, was invited to be one of the judges of a cooking competition to be held in South Korea. Together with Solo, Inca, and the rest of the crew of animals, they start their journey to South Korea. Missy carried along her special cheese, which she intended to present to the organizers. On their way, they came into contact with Enzo, an old jealous friend of Missy who stole this special cheese. Will they catch Enzo? Will they recover the cheese?
Inca narrated this story in an engaging and enjoyable manner. I enjoyed reading this book from her perspective. The plot of this book was great, and it had a lot of suspense. I was left wondering and trying to guess what would happen next. The characters were also very interesting and had their own individual uniqueness. I feel this book will make a good cartoon or animation.
There is nothing to hate about this book. The author used words that children can easily understand. The inclusion of images can also draw and fix the child's attention on this book. Morals like teamwork, loyalty, and courage can also be learnt from this book. I liked how Fromage always bragged about owning Missy’s cheese. It was funny and I had a good laugh.
I am rating this book 4 out of 4 stars. It was interesting, short, and easy to read. It possessed all the qualities a good children's book should possess. It was also free of errors, and this shows that it was exceptionally well edited. There were no forms of profanity found in this book. It is safe to recommend it to children. I also recommend this book to parents, teachers, guardians, and even babysitters.
