Inca is a detective cat who owns and operates the detective business Inca & Company. The agency has previously solved several detective cases. Four cats, two dogs, and a hamster make up her agency. Inca is taking a vacation with her fellow pets and their human mother. They want to spend their vacation in Sri Lanka traveling and relaxing on the beautiful beaches. Mom Missy gets news that one of the museums they were supposed to visit has been robbed. The burglars took a priceless antique sword as well as some gold coins. Missy's friend, Solo, is tasked with solving the mystery and apprehending the burglars. Inca is determined to learn more about the case. She is confident that she and the rest of the crew can assist Solo in locating the missing sword and catching the evil men.

I enjoyed the book's vibrant and vivid illustrations. These images did an excellent job of capturing the appearance of each character. I loved that the book was educational and included intriguing facts about Sri Lanka's geography and history. The amount of information and history about the locality was fascinating.

There is no negative aspect that I found with the book. The storyline will capture a child's imagination, and the book has a nice flow. Inca and her pals are lovely and warm. They enjoy going on exciting adventures and solving mysteries.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. The book has been professionally edited, and I did not notice any grammatical errors.

This book is appropriate for younger children. Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat will appeal to children who adore stories with animal characters, particularly household pets. I particularly appreciate the lesson conveyed by R.F. Kristi in this book, which is to treat animals with care and love.
