Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat by R.F. Kristi is a children's book about a detective cat named Inca. Inca embarks on a vacation with her family to Sri Lanka to enjoy delicious food and Sri Lanka's sandy beach. While enjoying their vacation, they learn that a sword from a local museum has been stolen. Inca teams up with her friends (a turtle, an elephant, and other cats) to begin a thorough investigation. During their investigation, they find several clues that lead them deeper into unravelling the mystery behind the missing sword. Were they able to retrieve the stolen sword? Get a copy of the book and find out.

The plot is loaded with adventure, from the mystery of the stolen sword to how Inca and her team try to solve the problem. The book highlights the value of culture and teamwork. As the head detective, Inca played an exemplary leadership role in organising her team and using their crime-solving skills to help them recover the stolen artefact. In the book, words such as 'heebie-newbies' and 'globetrotters' should appeal to the reader because they are fun to say. Because of Inca's friendly attitude toward Meena (the baby elephant) and Rani (the turtle), they provided her with the necessary information to locate the thieves. The story flows logically. This, in turn, creates a well-structured book. Children between the ages of 8 and 12 will find it easy to understand this structure.

My favourite part was the author's creation of a character page, which made the readers familiar with the seven main characters that make up the Inca and Company Detective Agency, making the book unique and enjoyable. Readers who love reading stories about animals will find this book fascinating. Also, the colourful illustrations in the book will help the reader fully visualise Inca, her friends, and her new colleagues.

There was nothing I disliked about the book. It is an insightful, didactic, and fun story that every animal book reader will find appealing. I love the teamwork and cooperation between Inca and her friends. The author did an excellent job; the characters are well developed, and children will learn a great deal about the cultural and biological diversity of Sri Lanka.

The book is exceptionally edited; not a single error was found in it. I rate the book 4 out of 4 stars because it is informative and captivating. I recommend this book to children aged 8 to 12 and parents who want to learn more about how to educate their children.

A book with a sell character development is one of my favourites. I believe this won't be an exception. I, the kids, would enjoy reading this piece.

Detective animals? I'm curious to see if the animals could solve a mystery that humans couldn't. Nice summary.

Sri Lanka is a place I've wanting to know more about. I could remember the first friend I met on OBC; we end up chatting ourselves on WhatsApp. The plot sounds interesting especially about the head of Inca detectives. Welldone on the review
