Join cat detective Inca and company as they journey to Korea with their humanoid Missy to be part of the French patisserie competition. Missy was selected to judge the contestants in the competition, where she will also present her new cheese, La crème de la crème. But on the way to Korea, Missy's new cheese disappears, and in Korea, the detectives are faced with their humanoids wanting to make a huge mistake which they must stop before it is too late. What will the young detectives do to help their humanoids not get into trouble? Will they manage to keep their humanoids out of trouble, and if they do, will they stay out of trouble themselves?

The positive aspect of this book is that the author managed to include a little bit of Korean history into a wonderful story without making anybody feel that they are learning something important. The illustrations are beautiful and enough to keep a child's attention focused on the story. It shows imagination and initiative. It is well-written and wonderfully brought together. Well done to the author on a wonderful job.

I cannot find any negative aspects of this book.

Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi is a fun kiddies book with beautiful illustrations. It has fun, friendship, loyalty, and a flirtation with Korean history. Although there are some places where the Korean cat named Bo-Mi has her name spelled Bo-Ming, it is the only error I detected, and it does not change the reading of the story, so I see no reason why I cannot rate this book 4 out of 4.

This book is suitable for toddlers and pre-teen kids. It has all the nice things that kids love adventure and animals. I would gladly have my child read this book.

To write about another country would need a lot of research . This book sounds like it got a lot correct regarding Korean culture suggesting research was done, despite this being a children's book and that level of effort is always appreciated. thanks for the review.

I also loved the Korean history included in the story, it was insightful, and it's good for young children to know such things.

R.F. Kristin's Inca series has always impressed me because of how she teaches moral lessons while also introducing a new place and pets in each book while telling an exciting story. This is an excellent book for children to read.
