Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi has an amazing and easy-to-understand plot. It is as educational as it is interesting. The book takes form through the Inca 4 company, a detective agency. The plot is absolutely well thought out, and the book is a must-read.

The book is one hundred and nineteen pages of absolutely informative text. Inca is a super-duper cat detective and the head of the detective agency.

Inca and company travel to Korea and have to navigate the delicate politics of North and South Korea to help their new friends without compromising the ongoing peace process. Will they get in trouble with the border authorities as they make this daring crossing to North Korea and back? To find out more, get yourself a copy of this marvelous book.

First and foremost, I would like to applaud the editors of the book as I did not find any editorial errors. I absolutely loved the illustrations in the book, especially the Tigger portrait and the cat with a magnifying glass. I think this will capture the imagination of children. The vocabulary used in the book is straight forward and child-friendly. The characters are also well developed and I believe they help the reader interact well with the next book in the series by Inca 4 Company. The hint of French culture also aroused some interest in me to find out more. I also loved the theme of tolerance and peace in the book. The harmonious coexistence of animals, nature, and human beings is good for our planet.

I did not find anything in particular to dislike about the book, and I would rate it 4 out of 4 stars as I believe it to be excellent and an educational children's book. I recommend the book to children and also to adults looking for a book to read aloud to kids.
