Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula: Diary of a Snoopy Cat, The Inca Cat Detective Series: Book eight, written by R.F. Kristi, is an animal-investigator mystery novel for children about a team of animal detectives. Inca and her detective team follow their human owner, who is known as "Missy." Missy is the human mother of Inca, Fromage, Cara, and Charlotte, and the animals follow her. She is appointed to be a judge in French Patisserie Competition. After creating a new tasty cheese, a French cooking school invites her to Seoul to show her cooking and be a judge for competition between South and North Korea. She arrives in Korea, hosted by a guide named Ye-Jun, who has a dog named Baram. The dog becomes a friend to the other animals, and they notice that Ye-Jun and Baram had some difficulties, and the Inca's detective team wanted to solve their problems. Did they solve Ye-Jun and Baram's Problems even in a foreign country? Read the book and find out.

The author did great work and created several positive aspects to make the readers enjoy reading the book. Firstly, the author used pictures in the book, which makes the children pay attention to it since children like books with pictures. Secondly, I liked how the author used simple language to summarize the political tension between North and South Korea for children to understand easily, without being confused. Finally, I liked how the author introduced the Inca's family and her detective team. It would help children understand the characters before starting to read the book.

I did not find anything to dislike in this book since the author avoided things that would make children dislike the book. R.F. Kristi made sure the language was simple for young children to understand and enjoy the book.

I rate Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula: Diary of a Snoopy Cat, The Inca Cat Detective Series: Book eight by R.F. Kristi four out of four stars. The book was explicitly edited; hence, I did not find any errors. The book's structure was simple and used short sentences to appeal to children. It had several positive aspects and no negative aspects; hence, with all that, I find the book deserves this rating.

I recommend this book to children between the ages of three and ten who are animal lovers. It would be helpful to them because the content in the book is for young children, and the structure is simple; hence, they would understand it. Children reading it should be animal lovers since the characters involved in the story are animals.
