Teamwork and friendship can triumph over any issue in life. That is the crux of the children’s book Cat Detectives in The Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi. The book follows the story of Inca the cat. It depicts the adventures of the protagonist and her friends. All the pets in the book build a detective team together to solve a mystery. Every member of the team has a unique set of abilities. This is the author’s way of showing the importance of teamwork. The story moves forward at a brisk pace and will keep the readers hooked from start to finish. The story also tells the readers how one can enjoy the little things in life.

The biggest strength of the book is the pictures that supplement the text. This will help young readers in imagining the story with ease. All the characters are given ample amount of time in the story. This will allow the readers to get fond of every single member of the detective team. The humans who own the cats are also depicted in a captivating manner. Young readers would learn a lot about kindness and affection as they go through the story.

I genuinely couldn’t find a single negative aspect of the book. The book has been phenomenally edited. The story offers life lessons to children and young adults alike. The author has done an amazing job of creating a perfect plot that teaches young children a lot about life.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. The gripping plot and captivating characters make this book a must-read for the targeted demographic. There is not a single dull moment in the entire book. The author has done a fine job in making sure that young readers imbibe important qualities while going through the book.

I recommend it to everyone above the age of 10. The world of the protagonist and her friends is filled with amazing adventures. Pick up your copy and journey through the fun-filled world!
