Review of Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat
Inca heads a detective agency called Inca & Company; the members of her detective agency include her siblings, a hamster, and her three friends—Monk, Terrence, and Polo.
One day, Inca's human mother decided that the family would spend the holiday on a beach on the island of Sri Lanka. Inca and the other kitty detectives were happy to experience a new environment, especially in anticipation of their walking into warm weather.
On the beach of Sri Lanka, the kitties' expectation of recreational experience was not compromised; however, they would have to suspend their recreational assignment to face a challenge looming, which would question the quality of their detective expertise and intelligence.
Precisely, an ancient sword has been stolen from a local museum nearby; this is the challenge at hand. Solo and his dog, Terrence, coming from London, would be joining Inca in Sri Lanka to find the culprit and recover the missing sword. However, would they succeed in this task at hand? Read in the children's book Serendipity Mystery.
Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat by R. F. Kristi is a children's book that details the harmonious relationship between the members of Inca & Company. The book also includes the description of a conflict which drives the characters into a series of adventures needed to reach a common resolution of the book's plot.
The author has written an entertaining and informative piece in this adventurous story of the members of the detective company, Inca & Company. The book is informative because the author included some historical places in Sri Lanka, such as a tea plantation and a game park containing wild animals.
The book has a lot of entertaining features that would indeed interest children. The included pictures of the characters are not just adding the visual quality to the book's content, but they also add life to it because the look on the characters' faces shows certain emotion—if critically studied, a feeling of confidence mixed with ecstasy.
Furthermore, I love the author's concise choice of words; the words reflect strong descriptions of the characters' actions, behavior, and characteristics. Also, with the strong descriptive writing style of the author makes the environment of the described beaches come alive. I also love that the author makes use of humorous sentences while writing the narration from the Inca perspective.
The book would be much enjoyed by children because of the inclusion of emotionally depicting pictures and the use of only a few sentences on each page of the book. I love the self-esteem, courageous vibes, and the general leadership role of Inca, the head of the detective team. Older readers would still appreciate the adventurous and humorous attributes of the book.
There's nothing I didn't like about the book, and I didn't come across a grammar error in it. Hence, I can say that the book has been excellently well-edited. Therefore, Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat: The Inca Book Series (Number 7) by R. F. Kristi earns a rating of 4 out of 4 stars from me.
