There are certain things in life that we get accustomed to, whether we're used to living in a particular place or used to going to a particular school, or the fact that we have our friends that we wouldn’t change for anything. One thing we should always consider is that change is constant and something new can always spring up at any moment. Donny and Mary Grace's California Adventure by Catherine A. Pepe is a 17-chapter book filled with adventure and certain life lessons to be learned.

Mary Grace Miller, a ten-year-old girl who seemed perfectly happy with the way her life was going. She lived in Kansas with her parents, John and Jen Miller, and her happy little brother, Donny. They went to the zoo and had both scary and fun encounters at the zoo, which they enjoyed, but Mary Grace got big and surprising news from her parents, which she didn’t particularly enjoy, as it was about to change their lives. Upon getting to the new environment, Mary Grace didn’t seem particularly happy about it. She had to adjust to a new environment, new people, a new school, and make new friends. While still trying to fit in, she had a serious encounter in school, one that made her question if this was the right environment for her. Find out if Mary Grace and her brother, Donny, will be able to adjust to and accept the new change in their lives.

Donny and Mary Grace's California Adventure by Catherine A. Pepe is an interesting book to pick up and read. I loved how the author took us through their journey and adventure. The way their expressions and emotions are described in this book is very commendable. I could easily tell when the characters felt awkward, angry, or happy. Donny is one of the characters in this book who I liked. He's basically like a beautiful ray of sunshine. The way he views everything with an open and clear mind, always happy, and the way he shows his love for his parents, sisters, and everyone is so beautiful to read.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike about this book. I loved every aspect and part of it. I especially loved the fact that the aspect of bullying was very well emphasized. It was not taken as a light issue, and I could see how dedicated they were to bring a stop to it, which I found very commendable. The book was professionally edited, and I would rate it 4 out of 4 stars for the reasons mentioned.

I would recommend this book to children, as there are many things to be learned. I would also recommend it to people who enjoy adventure and the concept of living in a new environment.

This is a well-written review, I love the fact the author showed how vulnerable Mary Grace is and how happy, her brother, Danny is. I loved the fact that they were able to adapt to a new environment. I really enjoyed reading your review. Well done.

Donny and Mary Grace's story sounds really interesting. What adventure did they have? Did they later adjust to their environment? I guess I'll find out. Good review
