Inca is the head of a popular detective agency in London that consists of kitties, a dog, and a hamster. Inca runs the agency with her siblings: Cara, Fromage, a hamster named Charlotte, and the cheerful Terrence, who was a dog. Inca's mom decides to spend her holiday in Sri Lanka. The kitties were enjoying the beach and exploring the place until Solo arrived. Solo was Terrence's master and an international detective. Solo announced that he was there to investigate a case of robbery in the area. The local museum reported that a precious sword and some bags of gold coins were stolen. They decided they were going to help Solo solve the case. Their first clue was the CCTV footage they watched, which showed that two men who posed as police officers were responsible for the robbery. They had deceived the security guard on duty, tied him up, and stolen the items. The team starts looking for ways to get the stolen items back, and they have lots of adventures during their investigations. They made new friends and tried new activities. Will Inca and the team ever find the missing items?

This is my second book by the author, and I enjoyed this one just like the first one. Although I have only read two of the author's books, this is my favorite. Inca is an intelligent cat. I loved the way she pays attention to details, especially when she saw the scar on the CCTV footage and didn't mention it. She exhibits true professionalism in her job. Inca is my favorite character. She is not afraid to take risks, and she is very confident despite her small stature. The book had a lot of beautiful pictures, which I know any child would love. The words used were easy to understand, which is important since children can't understand complex words, and the story was interesting.

The only problem I had with the book was that the pictures did not match what the text was about on some pages.

I think it is a wonderful book because it had colorful illustrations and I liked the story. There were no issues with the book, so I rate it 4 out of 4 stars. The book was exceptionally well edited. It was a quick read; the book had only 95 pages. Although the book is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone book.

I recommend Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat by R.F Kristi to children between the ages of 6 and 12.
