Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi is another book about lovely Inca and her detective company. The 8th book in “The Inca Cat Detective Series,” following the Serendipity Mystery in Sri Lanka. In this book, Inca and her family go off to South Korea for a cooking competition that chose their owner as a judge. While the crew is trying to enjoy their stay, their host informs them that his sister and her pet cat have moved to North Korea against their will. The Inca and Company Detective Agency takes up the case and vows to bring back his sister and her pet. How do they save the host’s sister and her pet? What mystery erupts from their owner’s cooking competition?

Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula takes a political view of this story as it shares information most children may not know. Bringing up the friction between North and South Korea, our brilliant Inca and her crew show that we can solve problems without violence. With the severity of the matter, R. F. Kristi makes her book friendly and calm. The characters make friends with the locals and share a good time with them. Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is professionally edited, meaning I did not find any punctuation or grammatical errors.

Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is a children’s book that teaches valuable lessons and keeps children excited. For excellence, I would like to give this book four out of four stars. There was nothing to dislike about this book. It deserves every praise and accolades it gets. The method of telling the story with beautifully drawn illustrations is attractive.

Gladly, I recommend this book to little children. They would appreciate the eye-catching illustrations in this book, as the author specifically wrote this book for children.

This book is simply written, beautifully illustrated, and full of exciting adventures that would definitely keep children and even adults intrigued. Inca and her team show brilliance, determination and team effort. A great way to teach children these values too. Thanks for your review.

This sounds like a fun and interesting mystery for kids! What a refreshing way for children to learn about different cultures and life in other countries. I would also like to find out what happens in the Korean peninsula with Inca and her team. I enjoyed reading your glowing review. Excellent job!

It must take an outstandingly talented author to turn such a complicated political issue into an enjoyable book suited for children. And it's great that kids get to know about different cultures.
Great review!

Thanks for this review. I just completed number five in the series. It's great to see some of the issues in that book were not repeated in this one it seems. I think I will have to read this book too, as I did enjoy the cute cast of fuzzy animals.
