Review of A Miracle For Evi
Evi is very sick, so she prays to Jesus for help. Her younger brother, Werner, had advised her to imagine how her body looked on the inside when she was hurting and then imagine her insides again when she felt better to see the changes. Evi hopes that Jesus can help her understand how to do this. Jesus tells Evi to pray and believe that the dark bumps will change and become healthy with HIS help. She goes to a quiet place and tries to imagine what her body looks like on the inside. What does she see? In A Miracle For Evi by Eva-Maria Frank, children will learn about Evi's faith in Jesus and HIS power of healing and love.
Eva-Maria Frank does an excellent job describing Jesus's love for all his children in this Christian book. Beautiful illustrations throughout the book show what the narrative is discussing. These illustrations benefit children too young to read the book because they will keep their interest in it. Children will learn about the Christian values of faith, belief, healing, and love. This book is a fast read with several pages at the end that provide coloring opportunities for children.
This book has no negative aspects for Christian readers. The narrative and illustrations are professionally done, and they kept me focused on discovering what Evi would learn next when she looked inside herself. This book's message may not be believed by those who do not have faith in religious higher powers.
I gladly give this exceptionally well-edited book 4 out of 4 stars. There is absolutely no reason for me to give this book a lower rating because it is well written and has no errors.
Children of the Christian faith are the ones I recommend this book to. Children under the age of eight or nine may need to have the book read to them, but older children should not have a problem reading this book. You may want to avoid this book if you do not believe in Jesus and HIS powers.
