Inca had an important job to do. She had to reunite Baram with her cat friend. Baram was a South Korean dog whose heart broke every time she remembered that Bo-Mi was far away from her embrace. She was with her owner in North Korea, and they had not seen each other for years. Inca could not bear to see the sadness in Baram’s eyes, so she proposed a rescue mission. Drawing out a rescue plan was the easy part. The hard part was crossing the North Korean border undetected. One wrong move could start a war between the South and the North, and she would not have that on her conscience. The good thing was that she had her team of detectives with her. Together, they must rescue Bo-Mi and cure Baram of the heartbreak she feels every day.

Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is another book in which Inca documents her escapades and heroic doings. It is one of her many diaries. She was touring South Korea in this edition. One of the good aspects of the story is that it will teach readers about Korea. It tells a story of their history and the effort both nations make to make sure that peace is maintained. I wish that we lived in a world where there was no need for war and separation. Sadly, we do not. Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula explains that fact to us. R.F. Kristi wrote it.

The first theme I liked in Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is friendship. The friendship that Baram and Bo-Mi shared was pure and glorious. It made me jealous, and I wish I had someone to love with that kind of intensity. The second theme I liked was bravery. Despite being a small cat, Inca was brave beyond expectations. The third theme I liked was love. The love theme was evident in the way the characters interacted with themselves. I liked this theme the most because it was the cutest thing I read about in the book.

All of Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula was enjoyable for me. I did not dislike one thing in it and cannot criticize it negatively. The only things that were out of place were three sentences. It is not that the whole sentences were wrong. There were just three little mistakes or errors in them. I believe that R.F. Kristi professionally edited Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula. I give it a rating of 4 out of 4 stars. It deserves this rating because I liked everything I saw in it.

Since Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is about a house cat trying to save another cat, I recommend it to cat lovers. Young readers will benefit from reading Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula because it teaches vital lessons about life and how we treat others. Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula should be read by young readers as it will help them understand the importance of caring about their fellow humans and their pets.
