Review of Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula
The book, Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula: Diary of a Snoopy Cat, is written from R. F. Kristi's imagination about how animals reason and can be of help to humans.
This story revolves around Inca, a cat who has a quest to solve crimes and help people around her with the aid of her companions. These companions are also her family and friends. The story kicked off immediately after Inca's mum was invited to Korea to launch her newly made cheese. She had to travel to South Korea with her family. On arrival at their destination, their cheese got missing, and the animals didn't disappoint. When they got to their hotel, the animals learned that their tour guide had a sister who was detached from him. The animals realized how much their tour guide missed his sister and decided to put a smile on his face again.
This book is a memorable cat story because the story is filled with positive aspects, which included beginning with an intriguing scene. The major events were defined in accordance. Kristi allowed me to play along with the characters. As I progressed into the book, I discovered a few clues that both Inca and her companions omitted when they wanted to get Bo-Mi to come with them. Meanwhile, I admired the confidence that Inca acquired and her positivity. I learned that animals have reasoning capabilities, and they possess emotions. Inca had good leadership qualities. I enjoyed the cooperation the animals depicted. At the end of my reading adventure, my curiosity was satisfied. Reading this workpiece was fun. In addition, the writer's setting is in line with the culture and atmosphere of the chosen locations.
While I appreciated the general content of this book, I discovered that catching the culprit in the airport was a bit easy because there was no list of suspects, but this was pardonable because the characters were made up of humanoids and animals.
I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars because it had the qualities of a good diary. Also, the book was edited with great care, as I found no errors in it. The font style used was attractive and coherent. The characters were spaced evenly and neatly. The drawings in the book improved the quality of the book.
I recommend this book to children because they are insatiably interested in everything. I believe it should help to keep them guessing at every point and also think of solutions to the problem. Kids who do not find reading to be fun will have an elevation in their interest once they read this book. It will also enable the children to build their personalities.
