It is not every day you encounter an intimate dad-son relationship. In My shooting star, Kurt Warner writes this book for his son, whom he adores immensely. The young boy was born prematurely at 26 weeks old and spent the remaining months in the NICU. Fighting his way through to survive, the dad read children’s books to his son while in the NICU. It is there that Kurt Warner got the inspiration to compose and dedicate this novella to his son.

This book is about a father’s love for his son. Kurt and his wife were so happy to be pregnant. They planned a gender reveal party and invited friends and family. Finally, the baby arrived, albeit prematurely. It was a boy! The infant beats all odds in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and is finally home with his parents. Every time Kurt and his wife look at their son, he reminds them he will always be their shooting star.

Kurt Warner includes pictures of the boy in the NICU and at home. Although they are just a few, it was worth picking the book. This story reminds us that kids are a blessing to our lives. I loved that.

I love that Kurt and his wife were optimistic from when their son was born. Spending months in a hospital is not easy. Some men walk out on their wives. However, the author chose to stay and be hopeful for his son’s survival.

I discovered no error, so we enjoy an exceptionally well-edited book. In addition, I detected no reason to loathe it. If anything, this work was inspiring, and I believe aspiring parents will find it a valuable addition to their collection. I award it 4 out of 4 stars. I recommend My shooting star to expectant mothers and parents whose kids were born prematurely.

This seems like a touching book that is worth it even if I'm not one of the recommended audience, but I'm sure it's a great read for whoever, and it will support parents in general.
Thank you for such an amazing book, Kurt Warner.
And a great review as well!

As a parent who did not go through this type of experience, it is hard to fathom what this Kurt and his wife must have been feeling and how difficult it must have been for them. I have no doubt this book is written with great love. Your review gets that across to readers.
