Inca, a Siberian cat, is the head of a detective agency called Inca & Company. Her staff consists of dogs, a hamster, and her sibling cats. They had just returned from Sri Lanka when they learned that Missy, their human mother, would be serving as a judge for a French food competition taking place in Korea. Missy has a fantastic opportunity to showcase her new cheese invention to renowned chefs around the world and expand her business. However, Missy’s business rival is plotting to sabotage Missy’s reputation. In Korea, they are greeted by Ye-Jun, who’ll be acting as their guide and translator. In Ye-Jun's house, the family learns about his sister, Ji, and her cat, Bo-Mi, who went to North Korea but never came back. After hearing their story, Inca decides to take on this case and try to reunite the two siblings, Ye-Jun and Ji. Will Inca be successful in her new, dangerous mission? Read Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi to learn more about Inca's journey and the difficulties she encounters.

The writing in this book was brilliant. Children can easily understand this book because of the author's use of basic language. I also like the idea that Missy is actually owned by the animals, not the other way around, and I have no doubt that my cat feels the same way about our relationship. This book has moments of understandable sarcasm while also being entertaining and educational.

There isn't a single thing about this book that I didn't like. It was beautifully written. The reader gains knowledge from this book about Korean culture and some historical events.

I can say that this book is professionally edited, as I only found a few minor errors. I cannot think of a single reason to deduct any stars, so I would rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.

The colourful pictures and descriptions of scenes made reading this book a delightful experience. I would recommend this book to children between the ages of 7 and 15. Younger kids can also read this book, but they might need guidance from their parents or guardians. This book is also great to read aloud to your kids as a bedtime story.
