Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is a book about the reward of hard work and loyalty. North Korea and South Korea used to be one. Both sides did not agree on how things should be run, so the South fought for secession. Many years later, although the war between both nations had stopped, many families still suffered. Inca knew that Baram's family was in pain because the separation affected their family. How can Inca comfort Baram knowing she would never be happy until she meets her sister and her owner again? Inca decided to go to Baram's aid because she knew she could not live with herself if she could have done something to help but did not.

This review of Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula will not be long and will go straight to the point. The biggest and my most-liked positive thing about Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is the lessons it gave on friendship, family, and history. We can never be too old to learn something new. I was very happy to read this book, even though I am well over the age many people say this book is meant for. It was rich in the history of Korea. It also included information on what both independent nations have been trying to do to maintain the peace they are enjoying now.

After reading Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi, I sat back and wondered if I disliked something. I asked myself several times if it had any negative aspects that I should tell the whole world about. It turns out that there were none. Although it was short, I spent a couple of hours reading it. That was because I unconsciously started the book from the beginning over and over again. I guess I did that because of how enjoyable the Inca's story was.

If you're wondering if there are any errors in this book, I'm sorry to say there are. However, these errors will be hard to notice if you're not paying close attention to the text. And I am also happy to say the mistakes were not many. There were just about three, two of which were names that were misspelled. So Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula was edited professionally by its author and editor(s). It was perfect in every single way. Such a good book deserves a rating of 4 out of 4 stars.

Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is a book I recommend to readers who enjoy learning about history. You can use so much of this book to start a conversation with friends and family. It gives details about the Korean War and how real the suffering of its people was and still is today.
