CAT DETECTIVES IN THE KOREAN PENINSULA: DIARY OF A SNOOPY CAT written by R.F. Kristi is the 8th book in the INCA Cat Detective Series. Inca is the head of the Inca & Company detective agency, consisting of other cats, a dog, and a pet hamster. This is the story of the adventures of Inca and her team in the Korean Peninsula. Their human mother has made a new cheese, following which a renowned French cooking school invites her to not only showcase her new cheese but also to serve as a judge in a culinary contest between South and North Korean cooks.

On her trip to the Korean peninsula, Inca and her fluffy companions accompany her. While enjoying food and sightseeing, they embark on a journey to North Korea to help a Korean dog and his master find their long-lost sister, currently trapped in North Korea. They face many dangers and obstacles on their journey ahead.

The book has a lot of positive aspects. The book is very well designed. The colorful images in the book are a very good and simulative addition. The author has integrated short bytes of important facts throughout the story, which makes this a good learning experience along with a fun story. The story will definitely engage kids and provide them with a fun reading experience.

I didn't find anything negative in the book.

The book has a few minor editing errors. There are no profanity or sexual references in the book. The book does not contain any violent acts. I will give this book 4 out of 4 stars for its sweet and engaging story that is interspersed with facts for knowledge. The book has been designed well, with nice fonts and a lot of colorful images.

I would recommend this book to pre-teen kids. Curious kids will have a great time reading this. The facts in this book are bound to make the kids curious as well. Overall, it is a fun and useful read for kids.
