Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi is a captivating children’s book. With their human mother, Inca the Siberian cat is traveling to South Korea with her detective team. The head of the detective team was Inca. Cara, Monk, Fromage, Charlotte, Polo, and Terrance made up the team. Missy, their human mother, is chosen to serve as one of the judges for the French patisserie competition in South Korea.

They met Enzo, a French chef, on their way to the event. Enzo, a well-known chef, has been trying to find a method to ruin Missy's business. On that particular day, Enzo got the bright notion to take Missy's brand-new cheese, which she planned to present at the occasion. Enzo was lucky to escape with the cheese. Enzo must be prevented from damaging Missy's cheese by Inca and her detective team. In South Korea, the group meets Ye-Jun, their tour guide. Baram is the name of Ye-Jun’s dog. There had been a separation between Baram and her cat friend, Bo-Mi who lives in North Korea. Inca and her detective team are determined to bring Bo-Mi back to South Korea. Get a copy of this book to find out if the group will succeed in completing this treacherous task.

There are many positive aspects about this book. The book was well-written, in my opinion. There were many personalities present, but they were all well-developed. Additionally, with distinctive voices and characteristics, they were also well-suited to their roles. The author's ability to clearly compare North and South Korea was engaging. The author provided a detailed picture of the characters and events, so I couldn't help but visualize each moment as it unfolded. I was also delighted to learn about the fascinating natural habitat for rare and endangered creatures that has developed in the demilitarized zone between North and South Korea. I also discovered a great deal about the country that Inca and her family visited.

There is absolutely nothing about this book that I didn’t like. This book is entertaining, educational, and adventurous. The images and drawings attached to the book were lovely. The names the author gave the pets are very endearing, in my opinion. Because of this, the novel became more engrossing, and most kids would find them intriguing. A world where people and animals could interact was successfully created by the author. I also appreciated the moral lessons that were taught in the book. It would be wise to model oneself after the team members' dedication and spirit of cooperation shown in the book. For young readers, this will provide another moral lesson. The book was enjoyable to read.

This book was interesting as well as educational. The writing is excellent, and the diction is simple to understand. I found no errors in the book, indicating that it had been exceptionally edited. Therefore, I give this book a rating of four out of four stars

I recommend this book to young readers and lovers of animal books. It is also recommended to readers interested in reading about investigative books.

This book was interesting and had a lively storyline. The images were bright and colorful. It was also very concise and did not bore me when reading. Nice review.

It's interesting what these animals can do. I'll like to read this book to see the world through the eyes of these animals. Inca sounds like the main character. Good review.

The cover page looks very intriguing and inviting. I am curious as to how cats will be detectives. I also like that the book is about the Korean peninsula. I love any opportunity that gives me more knowledge about the country.

I love it when animals are used as characters in children's book. The cat detectives showed off their heroism by saving mom's cheese and scare Enzo. This was a great read for me

Did Inca and his detectives succeed in preventing Enzo from damaging the cheese? Did they bring Bo-Mi back? I'd like to know these. Great review.

It looks somehow strangely interesting visualizing animals as detectives. I hope to see if Inca and her detective team succeeded in the mission.
