The latest addition to the Inca Cat Detectives Series takes place in South Korea. Missy, the cats' humanoid mom, has been invited as a judge in a cooking competition. She decides to use this avenue to showcase the new cheese she and Fromage, Inca's brother, have been working on. The whole family arrives in South Korea for the competition. Enzo, a rival of their mom's and one of the judges, tries to steal Missy's cheese sneakily. In this book, we will see how the furry family attempts to stop him.

On arriving at their host's abode, they discover that beneath his bright and bubbly nature, he misses his sister, Ji, one of the contestants in the cooking competition. While Solo and Ye-Jun are planning something that might threaten national peace, Inca and her team must make decisions to stop and uphold the peace. Read Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi for more information on how they do all these.

This book is the eighth installment in the series, but it perfectly stands independently of its prequels. It's a good read; children and adults alike will find it easy to follow. Inca's character stands out. How she coordinates the other pets, obtains information, and assigns missions is outstanding. This book teaches children a variety of life lessons. The illustrations are another aspect of this book that makes it fascinating and engaging, thereby holding the reader in anticipation. The plot of this story was also very interesting, and the style the author used to portray the chapters would indirectly show readers the importance of bookkeeping.

The only thing I disliked about this story was some loopholes in the plot. There was no initial information about why Ji was living on the other side of Korea, but I feel this is just based on preference; other readers might not consider this. Apart from this, every other aspect of the book was acceptable. I spotted some errors, but they were just minor ones; this shows the book was professionally edited.

Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi had an amazing plot and interesting lessons; for these reasons, I award it a full rating of 4 out of 4. I recommend it to children between the ages of 6 and 12. Audiences interested in adventure and pet stories can also pick this up.

Children's books that include animals are doing well. They just don't teach them morals and also how to respect animals.

"Inca and her team must make decisions to stop and uphold the peace" When I remember you talk of animals, I find this statement funny. I'll definitely enjoy this book when I read it. Good review.

South Korea and north Korea share boundaries but like are two worlds apart. It is not easy to bear the pain of a relative stuck there. I really enjoy the book. It was thrilling to watch the cats take heroic actions.

Thanks for this review.

At this point, I know that I'm not mistaken when I say I'm in love with the Inca book series. I always look out for the Inca book series because there are several attributes or qualities often displayed by Inca and her furry friends which I can incorporate into my daily life. Thanks for the review.
