[Following is an official OnlineBookClub.org review of "EYE AM By Joshua Seldon" by Joshua Seldon Sr., Joshua Seldon Jr., and Jeremiah Seldon.]
A child's upbringing goes a long way in determining what the future will be. EYE AM by Joshua Seldon is an inspirational and motivational book that empowers and motivates a child to have confidence in themselves. This book teaches the child that they are unique and are made for a purpose in life. It teaches children how to acknowledge that they are loved. It showed them they were strong and should not allow anyone to make them feel or look weak. With words of affirmation, the author encouraged the readers that they could do more than they knew.
I love how inspirational this book is. This book is a guide that starts at a young age to empower and inspire children to realize how great they can be. This book has a section after each chapter for the child to practice what has been talked about in the Affirmations. This section will help children learn to express themselves well and solidify their confidence in themselves. The pictures and diagrams included were very beautiful and colorful. This will attract the attention of any child.
Considering how short a child's attention span is, I appreciate that this book was kept short and precise. The author avoided stretching points and hit the nail on the head. Morals could be learned from this book too.
Considering the ages of the readers who can enjoy this book, I feel like some of the words used may be a nut to crack unless an adult is aiding them. I think that the author should have created a glossary where these words could have been explained. Replacing "I" with "EYE" was creative, but some children may think it is a norm if not properly guided.
I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I found no errors while reading it and it was exceptionally edited. I recommend this book to children between the ages of 4 and 8. I suggest parents get this book for their children because it will help build their young mindset into a positive one.
