The simplicity in children's books is what makes them good. The innocence they portray and the message they teach are of great importance. Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi has an amazing plot, and the book is a must-read.

The book is only one hundred and nineteen pages, but it did not disappoint. The Inca 4 company is a detective agency that will not leave any stone unturned to solve a mystery. Inca, the head of this agency, provides excellent leadership. In Korea, the company finds itself in a dilemma. How do they help their newly made friends without compromising the peace process that is going on between North and South Korea?

The editors of this book deserve to be applauded for a job well done, as I did not find any errors in the book. This contributed to the overall beauty of the book. Another positive aspect of the book is the magnificent pictures. I am very sure these will capture the imaginations of children. One can not fail to appreciate the French culture in the book. This could serve to prompt one to take French classes. I also loved the theme of teamwork, as illustrated in the book by Inca and the friends. This will teach kids the importance of working together to solve problems. The peaceful coexistence between animals and human beings will also serve to teach the importance of nature and taking care of it. Another bonus for the book is the simple language used by the author.

I did not find anything to dislike about the book, and I rate it 4 out of 4 stars. The plot is well thought out, educative, and interesting.

I recommend the book to kids and also adults who enjoy children's books. I can't wait to read something else about the Inca 4 company.
