There are a lot of aquatic animals. Some of these aquatic animals are friendly, while others are dangerous. The earth is surrounded by water. This book teaches readers about different aquatic animals. The author uses the book to teach kids the importance of staying safe. If we want to be safe, we must avoid going to dangerous places. The book was interesting because all characters in the book are animals.

Thelma the tiny sea turtle by Karen May is a book about Thelma. Thelma is a turtle. Thelma lives in a reef. The reef has harmless and dangerous aquatic animals. Thelma got lost in the reef and needed help finding her way home. Lucy was a seahorse and Thelma's best friend. There was a dangerous aquatic animal in the reef called Gerald. Gerald was a shark. Do you want to know Thelma's experience? Read the book.

I like some aspects of the book. The book teaches kids about different aquatic animals. Most characters in the book are aquatic animals. This book teaches kids about safety. Gerald was a dangerous shark. A child must avoid going to dangerous places. The author adds images of all characters in the book. The pictures of Lucy and Thelma are in the book.

I did not like some aspects of the book. The book has no table of contents. I want the author to add a table of contents to the book. The book has monochrome images. I want the author to add colourful images to the book. Children love to read books with colourful images.

Thelma's role in the book is exciting. The book has no punctuation or grammatical errors, so it is exceptionally well-edited. Due to the aspects of the book I like, I would rate it 4 out of 4 stars and recommend it to kids who want to read a book about life in the reef.
