Review of Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula
The novel, Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula, written by R.F. Kristi, is a fictional novel that every young child likes to read. This book is about the storyline of a cat called Inca and her team, who help solve several mystery cases. Inca was brought to Korea by her human mother. There, she establishes a detective company along with her friends, which includes a hamster named Charlotte and a dog named Terrance. Some events happened in Korea, in the Southern area, that made this group of detectives embark on a dangerous mission to take action to rescue their friend, Bomi, who was a Siberian tiger. Will they eventually come back alive and succeed in their mission? To know, read this book to find out.
This novel is similar to one of the children's novels I have read, Zootopia. Both of the books attempt to bring all kinds of species of animals together. I love how different animals befriend themselves in the text. For example, the cat Inca company comprises several other animals; a cat, a dog, a hamster, and so on. They all live together as families, trying to solve various criminal cases. Anytime they need help, they usually help themselves. This unity makes them victorious in almost every case they handle.
Another thing I love about the book is its cover. I'm not too fond of children's books, but seeing the flashy book cover makes me want to know what the content entails. In the end, when I read the novel, I wasn't disappointed by the content of the text since it was a bit mature, humorous, and full of suspense, which made me excited to read more.
I would have liked the author to go into more detail on a few points. For instance, I wished she would talk about some North and South Korea-related information. If the author does so, I believe those that read the novel will have an idea of the difference between these two countries.
I will give this novel a rating of 4 out of 4 stars due to the suspense and exciting storyline. It is also full of educative content since it aims to teach children how to use good teamwork to accomplish a particular task. This novel doesn't have a single typo error. It has been exceptionally well-edited.
I recommend parents purchase this novel for their children to read between the ages of six and twelve. This novel will teach children new things they haven't come across. Mature audiences can also read it if they enjoy comic-related stuff, particularly adventures about crime.
