Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi is a children's book. It contained 17 chapters and 119 pages. Inca, who was the head of Inca & Company, a successful detective team made up of Cat and Dog, left with his entire family, including Mum, for South Korea. Mum, who was one of the successful chefs in the community, received an invitation to be a judge in the French food competitions organized by Le Cordon Bleu in South Korea. The event will also allow her to present her new special cheese to the International Society.

After arriving in South Korea, at the airport, they aggressively recovered the missing bag of cheese from Enzo, Mum's greatest competitor in the business, whose plan was suspected to ruin Mum's day at the events. On the presentation day, as Mum was displaying her cheese for people to see, Enzo, who was at the event for the same mission, collided with his friend to spoil Mum's reputation. Did he succeed in his plan? To find out, I urge you to read this wonderful book.

There are many positive aspects to this book. First, the writer's excellent presentation of his idea through the use of beautiful colors and complementary pictures, which made the book interesting to read, was encouraging. Another thing I liked about this book was the character of Mum. Her knowledge and application of wisdom in a difficult situation were awesome. For instance, at the airport after arriving in Korea, where the recovery of their missing cheese bag from Enzo had already gathered the attention of many people, including the police.

Mum's application of wisdom to patiently solve the problem without wasting time and energy was great. I must say that these actions taught me a big and useful lesson. Also, I like the fact that it shared a little information about the Korean language and culture to help readers understand a little about how things were in Korea. However, despite all these positive aspects, I found one thing I disliked about the book. The choice of font size used by the writer was not encouraging. The font was illegible enough, thereby slowing down my reading pace. I think the author should have used a better font size for the book.

Apart from this, it was an enjoyable read. Also, I did not encounter any errors, which means this book was exceptionally edited. Given these, I rate Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi 5 out of 5 stars. The reason for my rating was the positive aspect mentioned. I recommend this book to children and those who need an interesting story to brighten their day.
