Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi will not disappoint young readers. The plot is easy to understand and very entertaining. For some reason, I love children's books, especially ones with illustrations, and this one did not disappoint.

Inca the detective cat is at it again, leading her detective company to help newly made friends on the Korean peninsula. Mom has been selected to be one of the judges in the patisserie competition and intends to present to the other judges her special cheese. But the tensions are high between North and South Korea despite the ongoing peace efforts. How can Inca and the detective agency help Solo and Baram without causing more problems between North and South Korea? To find out, get yourself a copy of this amazing book.

The narration of this book from the perspective of Inca is amazing. I loved how the author used simple, easy-to-understand language that will appeal to young readers. The characters are also well-developed, and the book provides a good introduction at the start to the benefit of readers who might not have read another book by this author. The illustrations in this book are also magnificent, and I believe they will capture the imagination of children. It is also noteworthy that the book is professionally edited, and the editors deserve applause for an exceptional job well done, hence contributing to the beauty of this book.

I did not find anything to dislike about this book. The author has been keen not only to entertain but also to pass on some very important messages to young readers. For instance, I loved the theme of tolerance and the need to appreciate other people's cultures. Peaceful coexistence and helping others also stood out in the book.

I rate the book 5 out of 5 stars because of how educational it is and the potential impact it will have on children. I recommend the book to kids and even adults who love reading to children.

I agree this was the part that I liked the best too. Children in this day and age need guidance and support to be more peaceful and kind. This book is a step towards that. Thank you for this aptly described review.
