Review of Donny and Mary Grace's California Adventures
[Following is a volunteer review of "Donny and Mary Grace's California Adventures" by Catherine A. Pepe.]
(The family of Mr.John and Mrs Jen Miller have a nice family of two kids that's Mary Grace and Donny.The family lives in Wichita ,Kansas in a church land.The family often visits the Sedgwick county zoo for family picnic and enjoyment for holiday.Mary Grace and the young Donny, the brother attends the Heartland Elementary school in Wichita.Despite the fact that Donny has Downy's syndrome is a happy,charming and a dedicated kid.The family's serenity is affected at the point when their parents Mr. and Mrs. Miller gets a calling to go to Africa for a missionary work while Mary Grace and Donny are expected to go to California to stay with Cathy and Papa Steve, their grandparents. In California the children, Donny and Mary Grace are enrolled in a new school . Mary Grace finds a new friend Penelope , but they receive the threats from fellow students who later is known as Justin Green who forces Tiffany to put the notes in Mary Grace's desk.Mary Grace applies the tactic of shoebox by Mr. Claypool to get the suggestions from other students who may had fear to report and this leads to the suspect.The story ends when the mystery is solved and the Grandma gang promises to make plans to help Justin overcome stress and later they visit Santa Barbara Zoo together.Donny and Justin became best friendas the story ends.
What I love most about (i)Donny and Mary Grace's California by Catherine A. Pepe(/i) is the way the family of Miller takes care of each of the family members at any cost.The way the mistreys are solved remembering 'the Grandma Gang' in California.Mary Grace's application of the same works just fine something even Mrs Stuart didn't expect to be such.The way Mary Grace hundles her brother becomes interesting as she always cares about his welfare and even that of new friend Penelope in California.The interaction between the staff and community is just beyond describing as the grandma gang accepts to help Mary Grace solve the notes mystery as she puts it.
The (i)Donny and Mary Grace's California Aventures by Catherine A. Pepe (/i) has no negative aspects as the book has all the aspects of grammar ranging from punctuation all the way to other aspects of grammar in general.The scope is just perfect , the events moves chronologically and this makes the reader to get the urge to read more and more to the end without being bored.The book is well edited and all mistakes cleared if there was any.
I personally rate this book ,(I) Donny and Mary Grace's California Adventures by Catherine A. Pepe (/i) (b)5 out of 5(/b) . The book is worthy the stars because of the chronological event flow and the simple language used for anyone mostly kids to understand and follow the events. The book was edited professionally with no mistakes that I personally have encountered.
I recommend this book to children starting from the age of 10 and below.The events in this book is quite interesting for children of that age and above.I recommend parents too to read this book as it contains experience on how the family's decisions affects the children either psychologically, mentally or emotionally.And how the children feel happy when the family is together.
