Bella Marie had to stay with her grandparents because her mother was away for a while. She stayed with her Grandpa Lou and Grandma Mae. Grandma Mae always kept her busy. She wrote her a song, cooked with her, and listened to her read books. One day, Grandma Mae needed to go and see Aunt Flo. Bella Marie cried because she knew that she was going to be lonely without Grandma Mae. She tried reaching her friend Kaye over the phone, but Kaye told her that they were going on a trip. Bella Marie is now left with Grandpa Lou. How will this turn out?

This book is lovely. It ticked every box for a perfect children's book. The images were very colorful and elaborate. The writing was precise and informative. The author avoided the usage of ambiguous or hard words so as not to confuse the children. My favorite part of this book was the rhyming of the last words of every line. I am sure that every child will love these rhyming words.

It was sad to see that Bella Marie was left all alone. I felt her sadness within me, and I wouldn't want that for any child. Luckily for her, she had her Grandpa Lou, who made her happy in the midst of it all. This can teach parents the importance of being present and paying attention to their children. I must applaud the illustrator for the pictures in this book. The comic pictures created the perfect scenario for each scene in the book.

This book deserves nothing short of a full rating. I rate this book, Grandpa Lou, What Can You Do?, by Willie Etta Wright 5 out of 5 stars because of all the reasons I previously listed. This book was exceptionally edited, and I found no grammatical errors in it.

I recommend this book to children between the ages of 3 and 6. Parents can buy this book as a birthday present for their children. Teachers should not hesitate to grab a copy too, so they can read to pupils in class.

The book is okay but it's not exciting as much as expected for a toddler or child reading it. A little more mystery and adventure will do .So I will give it 3 out of 5.

This book was lively and I really enjoyed how the author directed all the points in a way that the authors will understand easily. I hope to read this book soon as it was really enjoyable.

A child can learn so much from their grandparents if they are fortunate enough to have any! Grandpa will teach you things that grandma will not be able to, so having time to listen and learn from them is priceless. Never underestimate the relationship a child can have with their grandparents. What a lovely idea to write a book about it to encourage children to see their grandparents as special.
