Searching for a book title please

When I was a child, I remember borrowing a book from the library which I would love to find for my daughter. I was about 8 I think so we're talking a good 22yrs ago!

It was about some animals in a pet shop that escaped. I can't even remember exactly what animals there were or where they escaped to but I know I loved it and it's been driving me insane not being able to remember what it was called!

Any help would be gratefully received!

I have a read a book similar to that and it was called Mouseheart. It's about an ordinary pet store mouse who escapes into the subways of Brooklyn. The author is Lisa Fiedler and there are two books! I hope this helps!!

Thank you for replying! I've had a google. It's not that one but I'm still going to get that one for my daughter, I think she'll enjoy it.

I think after all this time that I may have found it! I think it's The Great Escape by Colin Dann. Yay!!
