Review of Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula
Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R. F. Kristi is a children’s book that talks about how animals can be a detective and helpers to human beings. The story begins with one of the kitties, Inca, introducing other kitties in his family. Inca is a super-duper cat detective who heads Inca & Company, a detective agency that comprises Inca, Fromage, Cara, Monk, Charlotte, Terrance, and Polo.
Missy, one of the human characters and the owner of most of the detective kitties, is talking to her friend about her being selected as one of the judges of the French patisserie competition that is to be held in South Korea. She also told her friends that she will use this opportunity to present her special cheese in South Korea. But Missy has an enemy in this cheese business that doesn’t want Missy's cheese presentation to be successful. Missy and all the kitties embark on the journey to South Korea. What adventure did they meet upon getting to South Korea? Will this kitty be of help on the journey? Read this book to find out.
This is an interesting story that children will love to read. The story contains a lot of lessons for children. They will learn how to be kind and love one another. They will also learn the benefit of working in unity. The best kitty character that I like most is Inca. The way he shows love to his teammates and understands their feelings is amazing. Anytime they are in trouble, he always finds ways and guides them until everything is settled. This is good behavior that children can imitate. Another character that I like is Fromage. How she stands by Missy and saves her in times of trouble is amazing.
I love how the author makes this book easy to read. Children will also learn a little of the French language in this book. The book text is perfect for children to read. I like how the author also makes use of colorful images in this book. This will increase the effective reading of children because most of them like images while reading books.
The author adds a list of Inca Cat Detective Series at the end of this book for anyone that loves to continue reading her books. The author also added a link where people can receive free books, news, and many more things. I didn’t find any negative things about this book. The book was also exceptionally well edited, as I did not find any errors. Therefore, I would rate it five out of five stars.
I would recommend this book to children, as they would find it interesting and also learn a lot of lessons. Parents could also buy this book and read it to their children that are not yet good at reading.
