Toni is an exceptional child who takes delight in engaging in domestic duties and other exercises to enhance his well-being and that of others. Do you have any idea about these things Toni does? Well, just pick up a copy, and you will be all set.

This book is intended to help very young children learn how to read. I was impressed that the author kept to the scope through intentionally simple word choices, very simple sentences, and colourful illustrations. I consider this book an excellent outing in the several series to follow.

The author meticulously exposes early readers to such essential words as "read," "dance," "eat," "sleep," and "play," among others, and while doing so is also careful not to complicate things for them, which was in part achieved through a dominant verb form. I am impressed by these.

Again, I like that this book teaches children some positive values. It guides their minds toward the ideals of a real superhero, that is, someone who adds value to themselves and society at large and is not a mischief-maker. Toni's personality embodies these values, and they are worth emulating.

More so, I am impressed by the exceptional editing done in this book; I didn't find any grammatical errors in it. Also, the language is simple and appropriate for the target readers. Furthermore, I liked the illustrations done by Debbie Hefke. They were truly delightful. So, I am excited to note that I don't have any negative concerns about this book. I was satisfied with the job done in it.

Therefore, I rate Toni the Superhero, written by R.D. Base, five out of five stars, considering the positive aspects I highlighted in the above paragraphs. There were no negative concerns that would make me lower the rating. This book is appropriate for readers between zero and four years old. I believe they will learn a lot from this book because their interests and needs were duly considered while writing it.
