Review of Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula
The disappearance of Missy’s new cheese was no longer funny, as this might hinder Missy from bringing forth her new cheese to the audience at the competition hosted by Cordon Bleu cookery, which will hold in South Korea. Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula introduces us to what a cat detective team will do to solve the situation.
Enzo, Cara, Ye-Jun, Fromage, Inca, and others comprise the characters in this book. However, there was also the presence of a human, which is their human mom, and she is none other than Missy, who is the owner of the lost cheese. The cats and their mother all live in Solo’s house. If only Missy’s cheese hadn't been found missing on their way to the patesserie competition, there would have been no reason for the team to embark on the search and take another detective action on their way. But due to the loss of this cheese, they now have to embark on a sudden investigation. How will the team go about this investigation? Could Missy have seen any sign earlier that her cheese would go missing? After all these, will they still meet the competition? Your full reading of the whole book will allow the above questions and others that you develop while reading to be answered.
Inca being the head of the team was one aspect of the book that was indeed fascinating. She has shown herself to be a good detective and has good leadership skills. This was a good one, as the book is not just about fun from the beginning to the end. Since many animal books read more like comedies, Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula was quite different and held a lot of lessons and positive aspects. The author made each character outstanding. They are animal characters, but it does not seem so in the book. It didn’t feel as if I was just reading about animals while I was reading the book because the animal characters acted well and were like humans.
Seeing the author write and give some information about North Korea and South Korea is another good thing to read about the book. With this, I had gained some information about these two nations even without necessarily checking or browsing about them on my phone. This is to say that I did not see anything bad or negative about the book.
In addition to the positive and mind-blowing factors that I talked about earlier, I will also add that the book was exceptionally edited, as I found no mistakes in it. I rate it five out of five stars.
I recommend the book to young readers who enjoy reading about teamwork and the portrayal of leadership in animal books.
