Maestro Orpheus and The World Clock by Robert Pennee (with Joanne Grodzinski) is a captivating children's audiobook that features Fredrick (Fred); Fredrick's grandfather; Maestro Orpheus; and Lyre, a musical lyre and Orpheus's friend. Fred, who detested time and clocks, was counting the chimes of the carriage clock in his grandfather's place when time suddenly stopped. Thinking the clock was faulty, he took it to his grandfather, a retired clockmaker who could mend it. Instead, he met Orpheus, whose job was to restart the world clock.

After being acquainted, Orpheus, Lyre, and Fred journeyed through the corridor of time, where Fred listened to people's stories from the clocks behind the many doors in the corridor. The challenge now was whether Fred would allow Orpheus to restart the world clock, fearing that time would make people old, and they'll eventually die.

This delightful audiobook is a true masterpiece. The audiobook stands out with its use of classical music, including Bach's, which creates an orchestral feeling, adding to the immersive experience. The audiobook's narration by more than one voice is perfect for each character and makes it more engaging. The listeners of the audiobook will encounter unique and fascinating characters.

One of the things that makes this book special is how it teaches children the importance of time. The book emphasizes the close relationship between music and time and how they're interconnected. With its unique blend of adventure, fantasy, and life lessons, this book is an ideal inspiration for children to cherish time and the memories it creates.

This is an exceptional children's book that is sure to capture the hearts and imaginations of readers of all ages. With its engaging narrative, perfect audiobook narration, and valuable life lessons, this book is an absolute must-read. I wholeheartedly recommend it to children who love fantasy books and give it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I didn't find any negative aspects or errors in the book. This is a Disney-grade masterpiece that I thoroughly enjoyed listening to.

I think this book would really go well for children as noted. From my little experience, I think music interests children and this book has view of it. Thanks for the review.
