Children's author R.F. Kristi's book, "Cat Detective in the Korean Peninsula: Diary of a Snoopy Cat," tells the tale of a cat detective's investigation into crimes involving stolen cheese in South Korea. Inca and her friends, Fromage, Cara, Monk, Charlotte, Terrance, and Polo, make up the Cat Detective team.

Inca, a renowned cat investigator, resided with Missy, also known as Mom. Their voyage to South Korea begins after Mom is invited to be a judge at a French patisserie. Mom figured out this would be a great time to display her cheese in the Korean Republic, so she took one of her precious cheeses on the journey. Inca and her friends were also part of the trip, but on getting to South Korea they discovered that the cheese was missing, so Inca and her team launched an investigation into the cases, but they realized that there may still be more cases to solve in Korea.

This book was by far the best children's book out there; its simplicity was beyond special. The author knew the audience that would read this book and made it very simple. The names of characters at the beginning of the novel were a good idea; children may also lose track of who's who, so these character names and descriptions will go a long way toward helping. Apart from the simplicity of this book, another thing that I liked was the storyline.

The pictures the author added were very thoughtful; they described the story very well. The only minor problem with them was that sometimes they weren't on the supposed page they should be on. There were no errors in this book. This book was exceptionally well edited.

I will rate Cat Detective in the Korean Peninsula: Diary of a Snoopy Cat 5 out of 5 stars; this book has an interesting plot with a brief story. I don't think you will see a more entertaining book than this one. My recommendation for this book is for kids under the age of 10.
