Review of Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula
Inca was a very successful detective who owned her own detective firm. She specialized in solving mysteries and rescuing things and people that needed to be saved. Going to South Korea was supposed to be a vacation to relax from the hard work she had been doing all year. South Korea was a beautiful place, and she loved everything she saw. She was having a great time. However, one thing dampened her mood. Baram, her host's dog, was heartbroken. She had been separated from her beloved for many years. Every year that passed saw her shed tears and lose hope that Bo-Mi, her beloved, would ever return to South Korea. Inca could not bear to see Baram overcome with sorrow, so she offered to carry out a rescue mission. The only problem was that Bo-Mi lived in North Korea, and Inca needed clearance to enter that country. How will everything end?
Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is a book with a thrilling plot. I did not dislike anything in it. I liked Inca's pride and her strength of character. Despite holding herself and her abilities in such high esteem, she was humble and empathetic. She cared as much about the next person as she would herself, without thinking twice. That is why I was not surprised when she jumped at the idea of helping Baram rescue her beloved. This book taught me so many things. It taught me that we must always be willing to help others no matter what because, at the end of the day, the smile on their faces will bring us joy and fulfillment.
I liked that R.F. Kristi included a lot of precious nuggets in this book. She taught me much about the experiences of the Korean people. She provided information about what has been done to ensure that both nations live in peace after the bitter war they fought. I did not expect much information about Korean history when I picked up Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula. I was pleasantly surprised. I can now boast and say that I know a fair amount about the war South Korea and North Korea fought not too long ago. This is all thanks to R.F. Kristi. The inclusion of little bits of historical facts is what I liked most in this book.
Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula had just three errors. The author should be proud of her editing team. They ensured that this book was edited professionally. As I have already said, I did not dislike anything about this book. This means that it will be impossible for me to make any negative comments about it. Because of this, I have decided to give it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars.
I recommend Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula to readers from ages three to ten who own and love their house pets. Readers who do not live with a pet in their home should also read this book because it will teach them so much about animals. It shows how similar they are to humans in their thoughts, feelings, and actions. Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula will even teach them how the Korean people live.
