The story revolves around a cat and her group's explorations of the Korean Peninsula. They had a detective agency through which they helped each other.

The head of the detective agency was Inca. They worked together to use everyone's thoughts to solve any mysteries. Inca and her crew learned that Missy, their human mother, would be taking them on the flight to South Korea, and they were ecstatic. Missy was appointed to preside over the French patisserie contest. She also sees it as an opportunity to introduce her new cheese to people. They met their tour guide, Ye-Jun, when they got to South Korea, and he brought them to his house for the remainder of their stay. Ye-Jun and his dog, Baram, were living together. While Baram and Inca were discussing the trip to South Korea, he told Inca the story of his lost sister, Bo-Mi. Baram also informed them that Ye-Jun was no longer with his sister Ji, who had gone to North Korea with Bo-Mi to see their family but had never returned because of the restrictions on the Korean Peninsula. I loved how the author introduced readers to a group of animals that solve riddles. It made the story an engaging one. There were a lot of things in this book that I liked. I liked the narrative stance from which the author told the story. The narrative helps the reader get to know all the characters in the novel. The author did a great job with the characters in this book. They were well-developed and organized. The illustrations in the book make it easier for the reader to picture how these individuals look, which adds to the development of the plot.

Despite the author's superb writing tone and style, some words she used would be too complex for young readers. Yet, some of the terms in this book will aid kids in developing their vocabulary and spelling skills. It was the only problem I had with the book. The book's cover was beautiful, and reading about the exciting events within it was enjoyable. The realistic atmosphere of this novel also helped me understand the Korean Peninsula.

Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi was free of errors, and there were no grammatical problems. I give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. Those who like both thrillers and picture books should pick up this book. Also, I suggest this book to children above the age of 9.
