Your review is super informative. I think nowadays fathers are becoming more and more active which is great. A child needs both mother and father. Alex is just my older son ("helps" with the younger)!/I think he would love to read this book. Amazing review !

Alex is a polite and lovely kid. It was funny ad a bit emotional when he asked his mom to go to school with him. This book highlights what child upbringing by a single parent looks like.

Yes, this book showed a hard-working single mom juggling her many responsibilities. It also shared what it looks like to have a village raise a child with love and commitment.
