The Library by Sarah Stewart, David Small Illustrator

What a real story for book lovers and avid readers who can't get enough of books? Little Elizabeth Brown drops in to her new family with an instinctive nose for books and reading. She doesn't play with all the kid typical things like dolls and skates and such. No, she can't get enough of reading and collecting books. She does this continually through her growing years. Reading and learning all the way. Elizabeth's way of solving the ever growing mounds of books she's collected in her home is without end - infinite.

David Small has illustrated the book with warm and subtle illustrations. The illustrations support and add definition to the story making it real and memorable to any book loving reader.
