Here comes the story of a lovely, energetic girl named Ava. She loves gymnastics and is so passionate about it that she can flip over anything nearby, like a chair or bed. What happens when she bumps her head while doing this?

This is certainly one of the simplest and best-themed children's books out there. Written by Ava Nebel, Ava Flips comments on how far devotion and enthusiasm for a cause can shape our lives. This is vividly demonstrated through the main character, Ava. Reading the author's bio could suggest that this book is an autobiography narrating some incidents in the author's life, but whatever it is, this book is a great outing.

Written in clear, simple language, children can easily follow the narration. Moreso, although it may be argued that the repetition of the name "Ava" somehow sounds monotonous, I think there could be a positive effect to it. That is, the repeated word could create a kind of emphasis, aiding in children's connection with the character and her acrobatic displays.

The dominant theme in this story is passion. Although the attention in this story is on the passion for acrobatic displays, Ava's devotion to this can inspire children, the target readers, to develop the same attitude for their dreams and ambitions, be it to be a professional footballer, musician, medical doctor, engineer, and the like.

This book was professionally edited. I found only one grammatical error in it. After reading this book, there is nothing I can point out as a negative aspect of it. On this note, I am convinced that this book deserves five out of five stars. There is nothing to justify removing any stars from this rating. This story will be very much enjoyed by readers between five and nine years old. Children who are not yet able to read will enjoy having this story read to them.

This seems like a simple children book. Reading Ava's passion to gymnastics and flipping over things is fun to see. Well done for this review.

I appreciate the way you incorporated quotes from the book into your review, which gave me a better sense of the author's writing style and tone. Your attention to detail in recounting specific details from the book, such as the lion's behavior during winter months, was also impressive.

Gymnastics is one of my favorite sports, but I can't help but cringe and fear for the athletes whenever they're performing. I hope Ava didn't sustain a life threatening injury.

The review's emphasis on the theme of passion is a positive sign for readers looking for an inspiring and uplifting children's book. The use of a character named after the author can create a personal connection and investment in the story for readers.
