Inca’s mom received an opportunity to be a judge in a competition organized by a reputable cookery school. This opportunity was a huge one for Inca’s mom as she would rub shoulders with internationally acclaimed chefs and also get to present her cheese on such a grand occasion. The family packed up and headed to South Korea for the competition. For Inca and his siblings, this was a chance to go on vacation, and they immediately made new friends. Mom’s cheese suddenly went missing, and Inca and his crew put on their detective caps and searched for the cheese. I encourage you to grab a copy of Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula: Diary of A Snoopy Cat by R.F. Kristi and find out if Inca and his crew found the cheese. Also, Inca got involved in a couple of exciting cases in Korea. You can only find out if they succeeded by reading this book.

Inca narrated this story, and he did an excellent job sharing his escapades. Throughout the book, the illustrations are bright and colorful. The storyline is catchy, fun, and educational. The font size is appealing, and there aren’t too many words on each page.

Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula: Diary of A Snoopy Cat is part of a series. However, it can be read as a standalone without getting lost. The book is arranged logically, making it easy to understand the characters. Readers meet Inca’s family, detective company, and colleagues from the first few pages. What follows from there are detailed job descriptions of Inca’s colleagues and a summary of the work done by his company and its achievements since its inception. All I will share about the job descriptions is that they are interesting and flexible. Inca’s mom usually kept Inca on a tight leash, but he somehow managed to escape and do his own thing.

The storyline is educational and entertaining. The characters are witty and colorful. I am, therefore, rating this book five out of five stars. There were no noticeable flaws or errors, and the book was impeccably edited.

This book is bound to keep the little ones inspired and excited. It is suitable for children from the age of five years and older. However, parents can also read this book to children under the age of five, as they can also enjoy it and find it entertaining.
