Review of Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula
The event that will be hosted in South Korea has made it possible for the cat detective team to surely be present in order to witness the pateserrie competition. In Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi, this team has to visit South Korea, not just to sight see but for one of them to be part of the judges. The person among them who is going to be part of the judges in the event is their mom. You might be wondering what I mean by their mom. In the book, we have a detective team present. The head of this team is a Siberian cat whose name is Inca. The team had seven members. Their job is that of a detective. It was amazing as there was an event that happened that led us to see how these cats are going to exhibit their skills in finding Bo-Mi. What is the event that happened that made us see how the cat detectives will exhibit their skills? This and how they solved the issue will be revealed when you read this book.
This book further made me understand that children's books are not just for children. When we call a book a children's book, it doesn't necessarily mean that only children will be the ones reading the book. The reason for saying this is because I learned so many good things from this book. We have the theme of love in this book. An example is the reason behind hosting the competition: it was meant to create a love bond between North and South Korea. That same love also existed among the cat detectives and their external friends. Missy is the mother of the cats, which simply means she is a human. It was nice reading about this. Another good aspect of the book is that Missy brought goodness to all the team members. How did she do this? This is because through her, the team had a joyful experience of traveling and was also able to do detective work, which is what they enjoy doing most.
I wasn't expecting more because the book is a children’s book. So, it will be unnecessary to claim that I found something bad or negative about this book. The editing was also amazing; it made the book free of errors, which suggests that the book was exceptionally edited.
I rate this book five out of five stars. I have many reasons for doing this. First, I found no errors in the book; second, the book had no negative information in it; and lastly, the book is both interesting for adult and young readers.
I recommend the book to both adult and young readers who enjoy reading children’s books.
