The story is about a Siberian kitty named Inca and her group of animal friends who accompany their owner, Mom, to Korea. Mom has invented a unique cheese and plans to enter it in a competition in Korea. Throughout their trip, the animals encounter various mysteries and embark on exciting adventures. The book is divided into ten chapters, each named after a day in April when the story takes place. Additionally, the book features numerous illustrations that help to engage children and bring the story to life.

This book is a great fit for children, thanks to its fast-paced narrative and vivid descriptions that conjure up rich mental images.

The author has added some pictorial illustrations, making the book even more colorful, expressive, and engaging for young readers. I was also able to gain some knowledge about Korean culture through the story. The author's thoughtful inclusion of French words in the text was helpful, as she provided their meaning right away. One of the series' consistent strengths is its depiction of the importance of family, and this book is no exception. Inca, the protagonist, introduces her loving family, and the story emphasizes the power of togetherness within a family. This message can be a valuable lesson for children, who may be inspired to learn from it and apply it to their own lives. In fact, the family's unity plays a role in the story's outcome, underscoring the relevance of this message.

I found it captivating to delve into the details of the flora and fauna of the Korean Peninsula, particularly the blooming cherry trees. The book also provided a concise yet intriguing history of the region. Inca and her investigative team led me through an engaging exploration of South Korean customs and culture. The illustrations complemented the story splendidly. The plot of Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi was full of action and suspense, making it an entertaining read for children. Alongside the entertainment, the book also imparts valuable lessons, such as the importance of teamwork. Despite the obstacles they encountered, all the animals worked together towards their common goal. Young readers can glean this vital lesson from the novel.

There was nothing I disliked about this book. The book was exceptionally edited too. Therefore, I would give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I would recommend this book to every parent. This is a book they could gift their kids, as they would love it.
