Everyone loves good cheese, and when the passion for cheese meets the passion for cooking, it can only yield good things, as we can see in the book Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula, written by R.F. Kristi.

Missy makes a breakthrough with her new cheese recipe, which has become the talk of the town. Organizers of culinary competitions on the Korean Peninsula invited her to be a judge at the event and use this as an opportunity to debut her cheese recipe for the world to see. Inca, Fromage, and Cara are excited about this news and cannot wait to travel to the Korean Peninsula. They are seen collecting statistics about the territory and cannot wait to visit it.

This book was fun to read from the start. I liked how the author wrote comprehensively about the trip to the Korean peninsula, using the characters to teach the reader about the land. She also used the start of the book to introduce all the necessary characters important to the plot of the book, and this saved me a lot of confusion as I was able to keep up with the pets, their respective genders, and most importantly, their humanoids.

This book brought back memories from my childhood. I was able to revel in those moments once more. I could not find anything negative to say about this book. I enjoyed every bit of it, and even though it was a children's book, I was still able to learn a few things, and for this, I remain grateful.

I will be rating this book 5 out of 5 stars, as I didn't find any reason substantial enough to deprive it of one. I could not find any errors in this book, which means that it was well-edited. I recommend this book for everyone, but most importantly for children, as there are many moral and historical lessons to learn from it.
